CAS Earth Bioencyclopedia platform will launch online service in May 2019. CAS Earth Encyclopedia of Life is supported by the Strategic Pilot Program (Category A) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, "Earth Big Data Science Project", which aims to integrate scientific, authoritative and professional biological species information, provide monographic literature support for scientific research, and provide a platform for the public to explore life knowledge. At present, the life encyclopedia has integrated more than 30000 species encyclopedic data, covering animals, plants and fungi. The main references include: Zoology of China, Spore Flora of China, Flora of China, etc. CAS Earth Bioencyclopedia is led by the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Participants include: Institute of Botany, Institute of Microbiology, Chengdu Institute of Biology and Kunming Institute of Zoology.
